Distance (Range Finder) Monitor

Distance Position Monitors or range finders are used on tripper cars, large moving machinery, ships, and the like. They can save on operating costs by reducing the time it takes to position these large, energy consuming systems. In bulk material storage applications they provide an accurate position signal in 4 to 20 mA or digital output, for stockpile inventories.

Clamp-on Angle transmitter
Absolute angle position transmitter in encapsulated housing (IP 67, submersible to 50 meters (optional)) with gravity pendulum as vertical reference. Simple mounting on gates, flaps, drawbridges and other rotating equipment having an angular motion and a horizontally arranged shaft. There are no gearing or coupling problems.

RIPOS  Model MGI
Has a stub shaft 5/16"dia. x 1 - 9/16"
The encoder MGI is designed for absolute measuring of mechanical positions ( angular displacement, lift, distance, travel) of positioining elements. The displacement to be measured is conveyed by gear wheel, chain, lever, universal joint-shaft, etc. to the input shaft of the transmitter. The compact and robust design as well as the simple assembly enable a wide range of applications.
Signal processing within the unit is continuously digital by a micro-controller. The transmitter may be set on-site by an operating unit with display or remote via HART / LON fieldbus connection. Position lineriasation is available by programming an integrated look-up table.
